RSA Mechanic / Journeyman – Hillcrest Full Time

A well-established automotive dealership in Hillcrest is seeking an experienced RSA Mechanic / Journeyman to join their workshop team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general mechanical work, electrical fitments, accessory installations and assisting with vehicle PDIs.

Duties & Responsibilities
General mechanical work and repairs
General electrical fitments
Installation and fitment of radios and accessories
Assisting with Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs)
Diagnosing and attending to minor mechanical and electrical issues
Ensuring all work is completed according to dealership standards
General workshop assistance as required
Minimum Requirements
Previous experience as an RSA Mechanic / Journeyman within the automotive industry
Good general mechanical knowledge
Electrical fitment experience
Experience with radio and vehicle accessory installations advantageous
PDI experience advantageous
Ability to work accurately and efficiently
Reliable and hardworking
Stable employment history with contactable references
Valid driver’s licence advantageous
Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary: R10 000 – R11 500 per month, negotiable depending on experience
