Fire Pump Technician Full Time
Applicants must have the following requirements:
Must have a Matric or equivalent qualification.
Must have proven practical experience in the installation, servicing, testing, fault-finding, and maintenance of fire pump systems.
Must have hands-on experience working with both diesel and electric fire pumps.
Must have experience servicing and maintaining jockey pumps and associated control systems.
Must have experience with fire pump control panels, including electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
Must have experience performing pump servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Must have experience in the testing and commissioning of fire pump installations.
Must be able to identify and diagnose both mechanical and electrical faults.
Must have a sound understanding of sprinkler and hydrant fire water systems.
Must be able to complete service reports, test certificates, and related documentation accurately and professionally.
