NURSE PRACTITIONER – AUSTRALIA Full Time

Minimum 4 years’ relevant Nurse Practitioner experience.
Relevant Nursing and Nurse Practitioner qualifications.
Current and valid professional registration.
Meet the applicable New Zealand eligibility/registration requirements specified by the client.
Demonstrated experience in advanced clinical assessment and patient management.
Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Strong commitment to patient-centred care.
Good clinical documentation and record-keeping skills.
Must currently be based in Australia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and clinical examinations.
Assess, diagnose and manage patients within the relevant scope of practice.
Develop and implement individualised treatment and care plans.
Provide advanced nursing and clinical care.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans where required.
Provide patient and family education.
Prescribe and manage medication where authorised and applicable.
Identify and manage clinical risks.
Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare professionals when required.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and other healthcare providers.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case management.
Maintain professional standards and continuing professional development.
Comply with relevant healthcare legislation, policies and clinical protocols.
