POSITION OVERVIEW
Takora Human Capital, representing our Australian client, is currently recruiting experienced Podiatrists for opportunities in Australia.

The successful candidate will provide professional podiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients with a range of foot and lower-limb conditions.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years’ relevant professional experience and meet the applicable Australian registration and eligibility requirements.

Eligible offshore candidates may be considered and should be prepared to complete IELTS/PTE or other applicable English-language requirements, where required as part of the registration or migration process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 4 years’ relevant professional experience as a Podiatrist.
Relevant Podiatry qualification from a recognised institution.
Meet the applicable Australian Podiatry registration and eligibility pathway.
Meet all relevant professional registration requirements.
Demonstrated experience in podiatric assessment and treatment.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Ability to develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Strong patient-centred approach.
Good clinical documentation and record-keeping skills.
OFFSHORE CANDIDATES
Eligible offshore candidates may be considered, subject to meeting the applicable Australian registration and migration requirements.

Offshore candidates should:

Be prepared to undertake IELTS, PTE or another accepted English-language assessment, where required.
Be willing to complete the applicable Australian registration/eligibility process.
Provide all required qualification, registration and professional experience documentation.
Be willing to relocate to Australia.
Meet applicable visa and immigration requirements.
Be available to participate in the client’s recruitment and assessment process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct comprehensive podiatric assessments.
Diagnose and manage foot, ankle and lower-limb conditions within the relevant scope of practice.
Develop individualised treatment and management plans.
Provide appropriate podiatric interventions and therapies.
Assess and manage musculoskeletal and biomechanical conditions where applicable.
Provide advice on footwear, orthotics, mobility and foot health.
Provide preventative foot-care advice and patient education.
Monitor patient progress and review treatment outcomes.
Refer patients to other healthcare professionals when required.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
Prepare clinical reports and treatment documentation.
Work collaboratively with doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in multidisciplinary care planning where required.
Maintain professional knowledge and continuing professional development.
Comply with relevant Australian healthcare and professional standards.
