About the Role:
Sagan connects experienced software and web engineers with US-based businesses. Your experience will be matched to relevant client opportunities, with specific responsibilities confirmed during the selection process.

Position Overview:
Build and maintain software or websites with clear requirements, reliable testing and useful technical documentation. Matching depends on your actual stack and project experience.
You do not need to cover every specialty. Tell us which responsibilities you have owned and where you are strongest.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement features or website functionality in your area of expertise.
• Investigate defects and improve existing code.
• Test changes and review data or API behavior where relevant.
• Document implementation decisions and coordinate delivery with the team.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Clear written and spoken English and careful attention to detail.
• Practical experience with programming languages, frameworks, version control, APIs and testing tools.
• Examples of work you have personally handled in your selected specialty.
• Availability for US business hours and an independent contractor engagement.

Nice-to-Haves:
Experience supporting US-based clients or teams and familiarity with the industry you would support. These are preferences, not requirements for every opportunity.
