An established accounting and tax practice is looking for an experienced and highly organised Compliance Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support across the Tax, Company Secretarial and Salary Departments.

Requirements

Relevant practical experience within SARS, CIPC, Master’s Office, FICA or salary/payroll administration

Previous experience within an accounting, tax or professional services environment advantageous

Working knowledge of SARS eFiling

Understanding of FICA/FIC compliance

Strong administrative and organisational skills

Excellent attention to detail

Good communication and client liaison skills

Computer literate in Outlook, Word and Excel

Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines

Own transport essential

Must be willing to work full-time from the office in Technopark, Stellenbosch

Duties

Assist the Tax Department with SARS administration and compliance

Assist with taxpayer registrations, amendments and representative appointments

Support the Secretarial Department with CIPC and Master’s Office administration

Assist with FICA/FIC verification, client onboarding and compliance documentation

Provide administrative support to the Salary Department

Maintain accurate client and compliance records

Follow up on outstanding documentation and administrative matters

Liaise professionally with clients

Provide general compliance and administrative support across departments
