Bookkeeper

R15 000 – R18 000 per month

Responsibilities
Full-function bookkeeping using Xero and Dext

Capturing expenses and reconciling supplier statements

Preparing accrual and adjustment journals

Preparing monthly management accounts

Processing payroll, including payslips, IRP5s, EMP201s and EMP501s

Completing VAT and Income Tax reconciliations

Processing online payments

Generating and processing client invoices

Preparing reports for managers

Maintaining professional and effective client communication

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Providing general bookkeeping and accounting support to the team

Requirements

Bookkeeping or Accounting qualification

1–2 years’ bookkeeping experience

Strong practical experience using Xero

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Experience with Dext will be advantageous

Experience with SARS eFiling

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team

A proactive, reliable and client-focused approach
