Waterkloof Glen, Pretoria East: SENIOR ACCOUNTING CLERK (BOOKKEEPING)

Non-negotiable Minimum Requirements:

-Well presentable female (preferably female aged approximately 25 – 45 years, not older than 50 years)

-Afrikaans and English first & second languages a must, with excellent communication skills in both (Afr & Eng client base)

-Matric / Grade 12

-Tertiary financial/accounting qualification highly preferred

-Minimum 3 years recent Accounting/Bookkeeping experience a must (Including Bookkeeping, Debtors & Creditors, Reconciliations, VAT and statutory compliance etc.) Take Note – Not Debtors or Creditors experience only

-Independently functional and able to meet deadlines

-Computer literate in MS Office with strong MS Excel proficiency, and Sage Intacct or similar accounting software

-Strong attention to detail, strong math & financial skills, with organizational and multitasking abilities

-Meticulous, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality

-Clear criminal record

-Able to perform and multitask in a fast-paced work environment

-Willing to commit to long term employment with company (no job hoppers)

-Stable employment record and contactable employment references a must

-To start as soon as possible

Work hours: Mondays to Fridays from 08h00am – 16h00pm

Duties:

-Full accounting function for Retail Management Company, ensuring that accounting procedures run smoothly

-Reporting to Financial Director

-Accounts payable and accounts receivable

-Bank reconciliations and General ledger reconciliations

-VAT and statutory compliance

-Monthly management accounts and financial reporting

-Uniform ordering & uniform stock control, inventory management and supplier management

-General financial and administrative duties

-Liaise with on-site personnel and ensure operational alignment

Salary: R 25 000.00 gross maximum (depending on experience & qualifications)
