An established construction and specialist installations company is looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to take ownership of projects in the Paarl area.

We are looking for a hands-on, organised professional who can confidently manage site operations, teams, subcontractors, quality, deadlines and client expectations.

Requirements
Solid previous experience in a Site Manager / Construction Site Management role
Strong experience managing teams and day-to-day site operations
Experience within construction, ceilings, drywalling, partitioning, shopfitting, glass/aluminum or related trades highly advantageous
Excellent planning and organisational abilities
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Ability to read and work from plans, drawings and specifications
Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Professional communication and client liaison skills
Valid driver’s licence
Able to manage multiple priorities and work to strict project deadlines

Duties
Take overall responsibility for the successful day-to-day management of assigned sites
Plan and coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and site activities
Manage teams and ensure productivity and workmanship standards are maintained
Monitor project progress against schedules and agreed deadlines
Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications and client requirements
Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential delays or quality concerns
Coordinate material requirements and ensure materials are available when required
Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders
Attend site and project meetings where required
Ensure health, safety and company procedures are followed on site
Resolve operational and site-related challenges quickly and professionally
Maintain accurate site records and provide progress updates to management
Manage snagging and ensure outstanding work is completed to the required standard
Drive projects towards quality completion, on time and within project requirements
