An exceptional opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join a luxury hospitality property in Zanzibar.

We are seeking a passionate culinary professional with strong leadership skills, luxury hospitality experience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest dining experiences.

Key Requirements:
Formal culinary qualification
Minimum 2 years’ Sous Chef experience in a 5-star lodge or hotel environment
Strong kitchen leadership and team management abilities
Excellent food presentation and attention to detail
Experience with stock control, budgeting, and HACCP standards
Ability to work under pressure in a high-end hospitality environment
Good understanding of broader lodge operations

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations
Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver exceptional standards
Manage stock takes, cost control, and kitchen budgets
Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards
Coordinate effectively with lodge operations teams
Ensure smooth daily running of kitchen and canteen operations

This is a 2 year fixed term contract, live-in role.
