Graphic Design Internship

We’re looking for a creative and motivated junior designer to join our team for a 12-month internship. You’ll work closely with our design and marketing team creating visually appealing and engaging marketing materials for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to enhance their skills and contribute to exciting marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create high-quality marketing materials using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop.
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and effectively communicate the client’s message and objectives.
• Support the team in conducting research on industry trends, competitor analysis and design best practices.
• Edit and retouch images as needed to ensure the highest level of visual quality.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas and contribute creative input.
• Stay up to date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry-related news.

Requirements:

• This is a full-time position in the office in Bryanston, Sandton.
• Graduate / undergraduate in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good understanding of typography, color theory and composition.
• Basic knowledge of web design principles and UI/UX concepts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• A portfolio showcasing previous design work or projects is highly desirable.
