The Department of Tourism invites students to apply for Bursaries Programme 2023 academic year.

The Department of Tourism offers Bursary opportunities to South African graduates studying (Diploma/ Degree/ Hons MSc/ M Tech Masters/ PhD) in the below mentioned fields of study. Bursaries is opened only for the full-time studies with any accredited institution in South Africa.

  • Communication Science
  • Journalism
  • Public Relations
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology (Software Development, Data Warehousing and related, Data Processing)
  • Development Studies
  • Economics
  • Internal Audit (Forensic / IT Audit)
  • Risk Management
  • Statistics / Data Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Tourism Development / Tourism Management

NB. Successful candidates will sign a bursary contract.The contract will be for the remainder of the study, renewable annually based on academic progress.
