As part of the firm’s growth, Genesis welcomes cohorts of young talent each year. These candidates may be newly or recently qualified graduates, as well as early careers professionals whose aim it is to do meaningful work that is purposed to bring about positive change and development. Successful candidates join as young professionals from the commencement of employment.
Each successful applicant joins as an Analyst into a home practice (refer to the practice areas listed below), wherein you would grow and develop as a world-class consultant within a specialist area of expertise.
While the Genesis graduate recruitment programme is not rotational in nature, the opportunity to work with various practice areas, by way of cross-practice collaboration, will expose you to different areas of specialisation and expertise.

The work you will do:
You will work with Genesis colleagues in consulting teams to help our clients unlock and realise value. In each project, you will be involved in responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Perform rigorous analysis of data using both conceptual and quantitative approaches
- Apply specialist thinking and logic to problem-solving
- Prepare clearly thought-out and logically written documentation
- Perform relevant research related to projects to source required data
- Clean data sourced to make it project-specific and relevant
- Vetting of all information to ensure accuracy
- Client interaction and negotiation
- Build intellectual capacity and property.
Who you are:
The ideal Genesis candidate carries a balanced combination of powerful intellect, strong technical skills, and a consulting character to match. Such candidates:
- Are passionate, self-motivated, and energetic problem solvers

- Are analytical thinkers and fast learners with an excellent tertiary record.
In addition, preferred candidates will possess the following skills and competencies:
- Postgraduate degrees in Economics or related disciplines, Development Studies, International Development, Public Policy, Policy Evaluation, Public Health (Epidemiology), Health Economics, Behavioural Science, PPE, Sustainability, Climate Change
- Master’s degrees in any of the above-mentioned disciplines are preferred
- Leadership potential, and the capability to lead and manage projects
- Ability to solve problems through clear thinking, with strong qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills in English

Process:
- The application is received and screened against the required skills, competencies, and experience
- Panel interviews with representatives from different practice areas
- A technical case study may be administered
- Integrity and verification checks are completed
- If the candidate is successful, an offer of employment is made.
