African Marine Solutions Learnerships

A learnership on a ship? This opportunity could change your life. If you live in the Richtersveld, Nama-Khoi or Mossel Bay Municipalities in South Africa, applications from qualifying candidates are invited for seagoing learnership positions that will lead to an entry level Certificate of Proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training under supervision to perfcern tasks onboard vessels both alongside and whilst at sea.
• Completion of all statutory training and the On Board Training Record Book dump the duration of the Learnership which will lead to an entry-level seagoing Certificate of Proficiency.
• Adherence to all Safely requirements.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Matric certificate
• Between 18 and 25 years age
• Resident in Richtersveld, Nama-Khoi or Mossel Bay Municipalities
• In possession of a South African Identity document
• Compliant with strict SHEQ standards and AMSOL’s Drug & Alcohol policy.
• Able to follow instructions and procedures
• A team player and a professional work ethic.
