Cost Estimator Full Time

Applicants must have the following requirements:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Cost Engineering.
Must have 2–3 years of experience in cost estimation or technical pricing within an engineering, manufacturing or construction environment
Must have proven experience preparing detailed cost estimates, RFQs, tenders, and customer quotations.
Must have the ability to interpret and analyse engineering, fabrication, and HVAC drawings.
Must have experience extracting Bills of Materials and calculating material, labour, manufacturing, and subcontractor costs.
Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills, with experience maintaining costing spreadsheets, pricing models, and databases.
Must have excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Must have experience preparing professional tender documentation, pricing submissions, and commercial proposals.
Must have the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, procurement, and sales teams to develop accurate and competitive pricing solutions.
Experience within steel fabrication, fasteners, HVAC, manufacturing, or engineering environments will be advantageous.
Must be commercially aware, highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple quotations and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
