An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join a well-established automotive dealership. This role is ideal for a highly organised, technically knowledgeable professional who thrives in a fast-paced service environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

Matric certificate.

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Service Advisor within a franchised automotive dealership.

Previous experience within a Suzuki dealership is essential.

Factory Authorised Suzuki Training (FAST).

Knowledge of Suzuki Diagnostic Systems (SDS/SDS II).

Experience using Evolve dealership management software.

Strong understanding of warranty procedures, vehicle servicing and repair processes.

Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English.

Strong organisational, administrative and problem-solving abilities.

Proven ability to achieve Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) targets.

Ability to work under pressure and manage high service volumes.

Advantageous

Additional technical or service-related certifications.

Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair estimating.

Proven track record of achieving labour sales targets and service department KPIs.

Experience managing approximately 15 vehicle service bookings daily.

Duties

Welcome customers and provide professional service advice.

Manage service bookings, vehicle check-ins and collections.

Open, update and accurately maintain job cards and service records.

Liaise with workshop technicians, the Foreman and Workshop Manager.

Prepare service estimates and communicate repair recommendations.

Coordinate parts requirements, orders and authorisations.

Keep customers informed of service progress, costs and completion times.

Handle customer queries, complaints and warranty-related matters.

Ensure accurate processing of invoices, service costs and warranty claims.

Achieve daily service write-up targets, labour sales targets and monthly budgets.

Maintain excellent CSI scores and build lasting customer relationships.

Ensure compliance with franchise standards and dealership procedures.
