This role is ideal for a technically minded sales professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and managing projects from consultation through to successful installation. Requirements

Matric

Valid Code B Driver’s License

Own reliable vehicle for travelling to and from work (company vehicle and fuel provided during business hours)

Proven sales experience within a technical or security-related environment

Strong project planning and project management skills

Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans (written and spoken)

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Computer literate with good administrative skills

Advantageous

Previous CCTV Technical Sales experience within the security industry

Experience with Dahua and Hikvision security systems

Knowledge of biometric access control systems

Basic understanding of IT networking, including IP addressing, routers, switches, and connectivity

PSIRA Registration

Knowledge of relevant compliance and safety standards

Duties

Develop and grow new business opportunities while maintaining an existing client base

Conduct site visits and client needs assessments

Recommend and design customized CCTV and security solutions

Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and system designs

Manage projects from initial consultation through installation and final handover

Liaise with technical teams to ensure successful project implementation

Maintain excellent client relationships through ongoing support and after-sales service

Ensure all installations comply with industry regulations and company standards

Promote CCTV, biometric, and integrated security solutions

Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets

Provide professional technical advice and product recommendations to clients
