Mechanical Draughtsman – Autodesk Inventor & Vault – Krugersdorp Contract

We are seeking 2xMechanical Design Draughtspersons with relevant mechanical and structural experience. Work on existing machinery designs & develop new machine designs, with technical guidance from the drawing office. These practical roles combine accurate design & detailing, workshop coordination & site measurements to support the manufacture & installation of process equipment.
Key responsibilities
Create and modify 3D models and detailed drawings using Inventor.
Develop new machine designs & adapt existing machinery designs to meet project requirements, under drawing-office guidance and review.
Prepare general arrangement, fabrication, assembly and installation drawings for process machinery & associated steelwork. Include accurate dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, welding details & assembly requirements in drawing packages.
Prepare bills of materials, parts lists & cutting lists to support procurement & fabrication.
Manage drawing files & revisions using Inventor. Visit client sites to take measurements, verify existing conditions & confirm equipment interfaces & installation clearances. Work closely with the drawing office, workshop & project teams to resolve technical queries & support practical manufacture & installation.
Minimum N4 qualification.
