Qualified Wheel Alignment Technician – Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal Full Time

A well-established franchised dealership in Ballito is seeking a Qualified Wheel Alignment Technician to join their dynamic aftersales team.

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled technician with experience in wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and wheel balancing who is passionate about delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service. The dealership offers ongoing training and development for candidates who are eager to expand their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
Perform wheel alignments, tyre fitments, and wheel balancing to manufacturer specifications.
Diagnose and resolve wheel alignment and suspension-related issues.
Operate wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and balancing equipment safely and accurately.
Prepare clear and accurate reports on vehicle inspections and repairs.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding technical findings and recommendations.
Maintain workshop equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Assist with additional workshop services, including:
Air-conditioning re-gassing
Brake disc skimming
Jet Clean machine operation
Attend manufacturer and company training to further develop technical skills.
Minimum Requirements
Qualified Wheel Alignment Technician or relevant automotive experience.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and balancing.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to work occasional irregular hours.
Grade 12 (Matric).
Valid driver’s licence.
Honest, reliable, and committed to maintaining high professional standards.
Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary: R12,000 – R17,000 per month (Negotiable depending on experience)
