Lodge Housekeeper Full Time NEW

We are looking for a clean, smart, trustworthy, hardworking, reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our lodge team.

Duties and Responsibilities

House Keeping Duties

– Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, showers, and toilets.

– Make beds, change bed linen and towels.

– Sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, and clean mirrors and surfaces.

– Keep reception, lounges, passages, and other common areas clean and tidy.

– Collect, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry.

– Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, and other supplies.

– Report damaged items, maintenance issues, and shortages.

– Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.

– Hand in to Management any guest property forgotten in the rooms.

– After cleaning rooms that they are locked & that windows closed & doors locked before knocking off.

– Clean and ensure windows are cleaned

– Look after indoor plants.

Front Office Duties

– Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in when required especially after-hours.

– Assist guests with their luggage upon arrival and departure.

– Respond politely to guests’ requests and provide excellent customer service.

– Ensure guest rooms are clean, refreshed and ready for check-in.

Food & Beverage Duties

– Assist with preparing and serving breakfasts & meals.

– Sell and serve guests with beverages. Record the sales in sales book.

Requirements

– Must be prepared to live-in (single accommodation will be provided at the premises).

– Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience will be a definite advantage.

– Good communication and customer service skills.

– Clean, friendly, presentable, and welcoming personality.

– Respectful, honesty, trustworthy, punctual, and hardworking.

– Ability to prepare and serve breakfast.

– Good attention to detail and time management.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
