Brooklyn, Pretoria: EVENTS PROJECT MANAGER (Medium to Senior Level)

Minimum Requirements:

-Well presentable, efficient and professional

-Fully bilingual with strong verbal & written communication skills

-Matric / Grade 12

-Minimum 3 years recent Projects Management experience a must, specifically in Events-, Marketing- or similar industry a must (TAKE NOTE – INDUSTRY BOUND e.g. Events Manager, Marketing Manager etc.)

-Well organised and pro-active, with ability to multi-task and focus on deadlines

-Able to work well within a team, with high level of self-management and initiative

-Strong administration skills and experience

-Comfortable doing online presentations, leading meetings with clients, and driving all client communications (including queries and feedback)

-Computer literate MS Office (Including MS PowerPoint formatting, image and logos resizing etc.) a must

-Deadline driven with strong attention to detail

-Valid driver’s license and own vehicle a must

-Stable employment record and contactable References

-To start as soon as possible

Duties:

-Full project management functions for Events Management company
-General administration and end-to-end project management / account Management

-Strategy & timeline development and management

-Project planning, implementation & management

-Research, supplier briefing & discussion, sponsorship negotiations and sourcing of collateral

-Deck compilation (PowerPoint presentation of proposed experiences)

-Client & supplier liaison, including meetings

-Reporting, drafting, submission & presentation

-Management of system back-end (content input and upload) and sign-off processes

-Compilation and distribution of newsletters (incl. basic Copywriting)

Salary: R 20 000.00 – R 25 000.00 gross maximum (depending on relevant experience)
