banqueting Waiter Part Time

Zest is seeking experienced and customer-focused Banqueting Waiters to join our hospitality talent pool. Successful candidates will be placed at hotels, conference venues, corporate events, weddings and other functions on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare banquet and function venues before events.
• Set tables with the required linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
• Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
• Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Assist with venue set-up and breakdown.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Work effectively as part of a hospitality team.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum 1 year of banqueting, restaurant, hotel or catering experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transport to and from work is advantageous.
