WE’RE HIRING: WORKSHOP MANAGER

Location: Lodge near Hoedspruit, Greater Kruger
Position: Permanent | Live-in
Salary: Market related

Are you an experienced Workshop Manager with a strong mechanical background and the ability to lead a team? My client has an opportunity for a hands-on professional to oversee workshop operations, fleet maintenance and infrastructure in a safari lodge environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the vehicle and plant fleet.
Oversee vehicle inspections, servicing, repairs and quality control.
Ensure generators and essential infrastructure are properly maintained.
Manage workshop stock, spare parts, budgets and supplier invoices.
Maintain accurate records, vehicle files and monthly reporting.
Lead, motivate and develop workshop staff.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
Drive operational efficiency and responsible waste management.

Minimum Requirements
3–5 years’ management experience in a similar operation.
Relevant vehicle mechanics experience and qualifications.
Strong fleet maintenance and workshop management skills.
Excellent leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Valid, unendorsed South African driver’s licence and PDP.

This is a permanent, live-in position. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own transport to and from leave cycles.
