Contract and Rates Specialist Full Time

Are you passionate about travel, tourism, and product contracting? Do you have strong Tourplan experience and a keen eye for detail? An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Contracts & Rates Specialist to join a dynamic Product team within a leading tourism business.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage supplier contracts, rates, commission structures, and seasonal updates
Analyse rate increases and supplier terms & conditions
Negotiate supplier rates, payment terms, cancellation policies, and value-added offerings
Ensure accurate product and rate loading within Tourplan
Perform quality control checks across systems and agent platforms
Support XML/API supplier connectivity and resolve integration issues
Maintain contracting reports, tracking tools, and supplier documentation
Liaise with suppliers, reservations, systems, and sales teams to ensure seamless communication

Requirements:
Travel & Tourism qualification
Minimum 5 years’ experience within a Tour Operator or DMC environment
Practical Tourplan experience (essential)
Product loading, setup, FIT Reservations, or Destination Specialist experience
XML/API connectivity experience (highly advantageous)
Strong understanding of supplier contracts, rates, and tourism reservation systems
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication abilities
Good knowledge of Southern African tourism products and destinations
