Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities
Interface with customers directly and manage delivery expectations accordingly.
Arrange loading of products at source sites.
Arrange transport through liaising with contracted and designated transporters.
Arrange for deliveries of products to customer sites.
Ensure support functions are maintained (sales orders, purchase orders, transfer orders, invoicing, recons, TMS, others)
Support the business in ensuring that the supply chain costs are within the budgeted parameters.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain teams.
Ensure the HSE aspects and impacts are managed, maintained, and where possible, improved on.
Liaise with own and third party transporters, own and third party warehouses, and other relevant role players on all relevant business aspects.
Deliver on OTIF targets through monitoring and improving on agreed targets. Work on developing and measuring these OTIF values, where needed.
Be willing and able to assist the business outside normal working hours, as dictated by the operational nature of this role.
Deliver a customer-focused service.
Investigate and resolve client issues within agreed time frames.
Maintain relationships with third party service providers.
The employee shall be required to perform any other reasonable tasks / services from time to time as required by the business.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Appropriate Logistics or Supply Chain diploma or degree
5 years of experience in supply chain
3 years in a chemical environment
3 years of experience in customer service
Transport industry exposure
