Supply Chain Administrator Full Time

Duties and responsibilities

Liaise with customers placing orders on a weekly basis.
Place orders on Navision – accounting system
Regular communication with Head Office in France regarding importing/exporting status
Regular communication with the clearing and forwarding agent re imports
Manage all aspects of Monthly stock take.
Managing distribution function i.e prepare picking sheets and DN for deliveries and ensuring the correct stock has been picked before despatch.
Ensure the warehouse staff receives, check, move and store incoming stock (FIFO – First in, first out principle).
Ensure the stock has been checked and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality, if not to record discrepancy on relevant receiving documents.
Ensure all Inventory processes are completed on the same day.
Invoicing using Navision accounting system
Undertake any other duties as appropriate within competence as required by the head of the unit from time to time
Maintain and develop order file for clients locally to ensure that all orders are monitored and delivered on time.
Monitor status of all imported orders to alleviate any delays and to ensure that all orders are accounted for.
Monitoring and corresponding with Clearing Agents on all shipments and deliveries. Also providing them with necessary documentation e.g. BOL, Invoice to ensure acceptable deliveries.
Price List administration – See process Flow
Annual Price administration on Navision – Load new cession and selling prices once approved.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills across different culture and levels
Motivated, self-driven, enthusiastic, flexible and efficient, with a positive approach to work
Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy
Matric
Computer literate, knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be an advantage.
Precision is of extreme importance
Bilingual
Strong personality
Accountancy/bookkeeping/Internal sales background will be advantageous
