● Matric, a diploma or certificate in short term / goods-in-transit insurance will be an advantage.
● 2 years similar experience as claims administrator either with an insurance broker/ underwriter or transport company.
● A thorough approach to administrative tasks and a service driven approach.
● Good time management skills
● Assertive with above average communication skills and interpersonal skills.
● Good telephone manner, writing skills and well versed in e-mail etiquette.
● Computer literacy – MS Excel & MS Word skills.
Responsibilities:(Including but not limited to)
● All tasks pertaining to the investigation, processing and administration of claims.
● Open and register claims and capture detail on claims program.
● Process claim documentation and create claim invoices.
● General administrative tasks, filing and recordkeeping.
