Multidisciplinary Geological Mine Draughtsperson –6-month Fixed Term Contract–Gauteng

MUST have a Certificate in Drafting

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Draughtsperson as below

Experience needed in geological, mechanical, structural, civil, electrical and instrumentation Drawings, instrumentation piping diagrams, process flow diagrams and databases up to date. Experience needed

Computer Literacy and Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate)

Valid Driver’s License and transport

Provide subject matter expertise and skills in area of responsibility; advising on solutions to enhance or ensure the effectiveness of the department/section.

Ensure that drawings and maps are filed correctly

Prepare drawings for engineering installations.

Responsible for detailing and checking of manufacturing drawings.

Responsible for the design of engineering installations

Responsible for the measuring or capturing of dimensions of existing equipment

Responsible to change designs to rectify defects or malfunctions

Responsible to design layouts of the plant for feasibility studies

Responsible to ensure that drawings are checked, verified and signed off

Maintain and manage healthy relationships within own team and across teams.

Responsible to provide support to team within area of responsibility.

Responsible to share knowledge and skills with co-workers.

Responsible for managing own work performance and completing tasks as per set timelines and standards.

Demonstrate knowledge and skill in all applicable legislative requirements regarding drawings and maps

Ensure that all drawings adhere to applicable specifications

Demonstrate knowledge and skill in analysing the design specifications of equipment against its practical functionality

Be able to adhere to specifications in terms of authorised drawings

Having skill to perform accurate measurements of existing structures by using applicable measuring equipment

Display related to computer aided Drafting

Be able to file drawings as per standard operating procedure
