Solidworks Sheet Metal Mechanical Draftsman in Fabrication Manufacture Production – JHB

Age 24 years – 42 years

Must be able to start immediately or within 1-2 days

Mechanical Degree 4year Engineering Degree is essential

Driver’s License.

Minimum 3 – 8+ years’ experience in Mechanical OR Mechanical Drafting working experience using Solidworks and 3D CAD modelling.

Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software (advantageous)

Conceptualize and design mechanical purpose-built machinery, industrial equipment, robotic welding and assembly cells, body in white jigs, conveyance systems and lifting equipment.

Analyse mechanical functionality of systems, including Finite Element Analysis.

Specification of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.

Working Background experience Mechanical Drafting in a Production and Manufacturing Industries in steel Sheet metal fabrication.

Mechanical Drafting in Geo Fixtures or tooling Design a plus but not essential.

Working Experience gained in Developing detailed manufacturing drawings for existing and new Mechanical Drafting designs.

Will Interface with Engineers and Production Managers to find optimal manufacturing methods for components and sub-assemblies.

Experience Updating and complete Bill of materials (BOM).

Monthly salary package: R20 000 – R26 5000 full cost to company per month
