SLEEVER – LABELER MACHINE OPERATORS  – Port Elizabeth

Would you like to join a dynamic and leading manufacturing plastics components factory? They are seeking an energetic maintenance SLEEVER – LABELER OPERATORS.  Able to work under pressure to meet production deadlines. Candidate should be able to work independently and as as a team member.

• Salary: R38.00 – R39.00 per hour – Weekly paid (on direct experience)

QUALIFICATION

• Certificate – Grade 12 (Matric)
• Certificate – N3(mechanical or electrical without trade test),
• Certificate – Preference – N4 mechanical or electrical qualification
• Experience
• Not less than 1 year working in a hands-on technical role (mechanical or electrical)
• 1-3 years’ experience in the manufacturing FMCG industry advantageous

Company policy Interview testing

• Interview practical: required to complete and pass an entry technical test
• Passed internal pre-assessment (numeracy and Literacy)
• Please note that all shortlisted candidates that apply will complete psychometric tests.

DUTIES

• Ensure that products are packed and labelled efficiently and correctly.
• Weekly Maintenance checks on sleever/labelers and conduct minor repairs
• Be a part of the ATO Process and competence development process
• Reporting of defective equipment
• Correct and timeous completion of checklists including hourly quality checks
• Ensure that good quality products are being produced as per the customer approved sample and master sample
• Check products consistently against relevant specification and report immediately on non- conformance’s.
• Ensuring compliance with the ISO standards.
• Adhering to all Food Safety procedures and requirements
• Ensure proper housekeeping by maintaining a minimum score of 95% on housekeeping checklist and 100% adherence to the dress code.
• Ensure machines are always clean as per the checklists and SMP and company standards, during and after operation
