Financial Accountant Full Time
Responsibilities:
•Cashbook and bank reconciliation
•Full creditors and debtors’ function
• Month end journals
• Tax related issues: submission of VAT 201, EMP 201 and assist with any SARS audits
• Monthly management accounts
• Ad hoc tasks
Requirements:
• 3-5 years commercial experience post articles
• Preferably have financial service experience
• Pastel/Sage experience
• Preferably audit environment background (SAICA or SAIPA) Education:
• Degree or diploma
• Strong excel skills
• Deadline driven – ability to meet monthly regulatory and internal deadlines
• Team player
• Proactive
• Ability to be innovative and use one’s own initiative
• Attention to detail
