Administrative Specialist Full Time

Main Purpose of the Role

The main purpose of the role will be ensuring that all pricing SLA’s and KPI’s are met and adhered to, the main priorities will be the updating of rates on a shared site with a particular focus on auto rating and the management of country and client tariffs. The individual will also support in the design of reporting so that the main tasks can be measured and monitored.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 5 years Logistics Industry experience specifically with regards to Pricing.

Other Minimum Requirements

Own vehicle; driver’s license; ability to work shifts; ability to travel, ability to generate estimates as part of the estimates team, good communication skills to assist with proposals and tender document

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage rates loading process.

Compile monthly reports relating to the rates function.

Co-ordination of annual rate increase process with Sales/Servicing.

Drive rate reliance nationally.

Manage the rates Engineers and Auto rating process on a national level.

Ensure tariff rates are updated when necessary.

Ensure all DSV & Tariff rates are available nationally.

Update the DDU calculator.

Distribute pricing models to all stakeholders.

Ensure estimates have all necessary pricing available.

Ensure correct pricing models are applied by estimates teams & rate engineers.

Gather feedback from the branches relating to pricing models.

Management of Auto rating on Cargo Wise system.

Create, update and implement costing tools in excel that will upload to web based services.

Support the Cape Town Tender and Proposal Team with accumulating rates and loading these rates in auto rating system.

Design and implement reports for Sales and CRM Team if and when required based on big data from different sources
