Driver Assistant Job Full Time

As a Driver Assistant, you will support the driver in transportation and delivery operations, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods or parcels. Responsibilities include assisting with loading and unloading, navigating routes, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods or parcels as needed.

• Ensure goods or parcels are properly secured and handled with care during transit.

• Navigate routes and provide directions to the driver when necessary.

• Assist in vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure it is in good condition.

• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.

• Communicate with customers or dispatch teams regarding delivery status.

• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies while on duty.

• Report any issues with the vehicle or delivery process to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not necessarily required).

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.

• Physical fitness to handle lifting and moving goods.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of road safety regulations.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required.

Work Environment:

• May involve outdoor work and exposure to varying weather conditions.

• Requires lifting and carrying items of varying weights.

• Extended periods of travel may be required depending on the job.

Salary R 8000 — R 12000 per month.
