You will be working as Local Division Controller and will be part of the Process Automation Business Area for Measurement & Analytics Division based in Modderfontein, South Africa. In this role you will be reporting to Local Business Unit Manager the and will be responsible for acting as a business partner to the relevant business manager. Leading local controlling teams to optimize the financial performance within the assigned Division or Business Line or Product Group. Supporting effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data in order to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions.
Serving as a key partner for the relevant business leader in determining strategy for the area of responsibility, aligning the strategy, implementing and maintaining constant contact with mangers and controllers regarding the financial market.
Translating the business strategy into plans and establishing measurable targets. Evaluating the financial implications of various strategic decisions, identifying risks and recommending required actions.
Overseeing business planning and forecasting process for area of responsibility and serving as an interface to Head Quarters, Country Chief Financial Officer, Global and Local Division Manager.
Monitoring the progress attained and providing insight and analysis to support operational decision making. Driving appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization and capital efficiency while closely monitoring cash flow and taking relevant action to improve Net Working Capital.
Identifying and communicating commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions. Executing risk review procedures and processes in line with the global policies and standard to minimize the commercial and financial risks and exposure.
Establishing and overseeing processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information and ensuring high quality information is in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
Ensuring transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Defining and implementing internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. Ensuring compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations and guidelines. Supporting internal and external audits.
Ensuring timely and efficient communication with respective local division and regional controllers, accounting center and other internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or Chartered Accountant.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of financial controlling experience.
Candidate must have good experience in internal controls, O2C (Order to Cash) and P2P (Procure-to-pay and should have managed auditing.
Experience in SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) module will be an added advantage.
Strong user experience with Microsoft Office tools, emphasizing on Excel.
Strong analytical skills and providing utmost attention to details.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
